Some information about HepatitisHepatitis means swelling andinflammation in the liver. There are various types called Hepatitis A, B, C , Dand E viruses. Hepatitis A is caused by eating food and drinking water infectedwith Hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A can also be caused by anal-oral contactduring sex. Hepatitis A is usually not fatal and not much dangerous but ifignored it can lead to complications and death. Ayurveda offers good herbs forregenerating liver cells and help to ease the inflammation. Almost all thecases recover by rest, diet modifications and some medications.
Hepatitis B is caused by the virus HBV. It is spread by contactwith an infected person's blood, semen, or other body fluid. And, it is asexually transmitted disease (STD). Hepatitis B is more dangerousthan Hepatitis A. It is acquired by following methods - · Unprotected sex with infected person. · Sharing drug needles · Getting a tattoo or body piercing with dirty needlesand tools that were used on others.· Getting pricked with an infected needle. Usuallyhealthcare workers are at risk. Doctors, Nurses and ward boys should take care.· Sharing toothbrush, razor or other person itemswith infected person. · An infected woman can give hepatitis B to herbaby at birth or through her breast milk.· Through a bite from another person.· Sometimes the blood transfusion of infectedblood in healthy person by mistake of hospital.
Hepatitis B alsoleads to liver swelling and damage. It can cause severe liver damage and mayalso result in liver cancer. The chronic infection leads Hepatitis B can be a serious infection that can cause liverdamage, which may result in cancer. Some people are not able to get rid of thevirus, which makes the infection chronic.
Hepatitis C is caused by the virus HCV. It is spread the same wayas hepatitis B. Most people who have hepatitis C develop a chronic infection.This may lead to a scarring of the liver, called cirrhosis. 1. YakritPlihantak Churna – 1 teaspoonful twice daily or boil 2 tablespoonfuls in about400 ml of water , boil until it remains 50 ml. Filter and consume. Add sugar totaste if not diabetic 2. Tab.Arogyavardhni vati – 2 tablets twice daily, after meals with plain water 3. Tab.Nirocil or Syp. Nirocil – 2 tablets twice daily or 2 tablespoonfuls twice daily4. Tab.Livotrit – 2 tablets twice daily 5. Syp.Amlycure DS – 2 tablespoonfuls twice daily ( you can buy from nearby ayurvedicstore) 6. Cap.Punarnava – 2 capsules twice daily 7. Mixall the following in the below mentioned quantity, make 60 Sachets and consume1 sachet twice daily with honey.
